Maintaining Your Lash Extensions

The natural growth cycle of an eyelash lasts 60 to 90 days, with 2–5 lashes shedding daily. As one lash sheds, another grows in its place. To keep your natural lashes healthy and your extensions looking their best, we recommend scheduling a refill every 2–3 weeks.

Factors Influencing Longevity

Lash extensions are not for everyone, and conditions that affect their longevity can arise at any time as our bodies change. The lifespan of your eyelash extensions depends on several key factors:

  • Natural Lash Cycle: Extensions will fall out as your natural lashes shed and regrow.

  • Skin Type: Oily skin can affect the adhesive bond, which may reduce retention.

  • Home Care Routine: Proper aftercare is essential for extending lash retention.

  • Overall Habits: Rubbing, tugging, or neglecting your aftercare routine can decrease the longevity of your extensions.

  • Hormonal Changes: Fluctuations during menstruation, pregnancy, or menopause can affect hair growth and lash retention.

  • Stress: High stress levels can disrupt the natural lash growth cycle, leading to increased shedding.

  • Seasonal Changes: Many people experience a natural increase in lash shedding during seasonal transitions (e.g., spring and fall).

  • Medications & Medical Conditions: Certain medications and health conditions can impact hair growth and lash quality, affecting retention. This includes conditions such as:

    • Dry Eye: This condition can cause irritation and affect the health of your natural lashes.

    • Blepharitis: Inflammation of the eyelids can lead to irritation and affect lash retention.

    • Alopecia Areata: An autoimmune disease that causes hair loss, including eyelashes.

    • Glaucoma: Certain medications used to treat glaucoma can alter eyelash growth.

    • Allergies: Eye allergies can cause rubbing and watering, damaging extensions.

    • Thyroid Disorders: These can affect overall hair growth, including your lashes.

    • Trichotillomania: A psychological condition that causes a person to pull out their eyelashes.

  • Diet: A healthy, balanced diet is important for overall hair health, including your lashes.

  • Sleep Habits: Sleeping on your stomach or side with your face pressed against a pillow can cause friction and premature lash loss.

Fill Appointment Policy & Pricing

  • The appointment is booked after 31 days, the service will be charged at the full set rate.

Fill Requirements

  • To ensure your lashes consistently look their best, our fill appointments are time-limited and priced based on the remaining percentage of your lash extensions. This allows us to dedicate the perfect amount of time to restore your lashes to their full, beautiful look.

  • Our pricing is based on the natural lash growth cycle and the specific type of set you paid for.

  • 2-Week Fill: Requires at least 60% of your lash extensions remaining.

  • 3-Week Fill: Requires at least 40% of your lash extensions remaining.

  • 4-Week Fill: Requires at least 30% of your lash extensions remaining.

  • If you have experienced more lash loss than usual fall out, please let us know in advance so we can book a longer fill appointment for you. This ensures we have the necessary time to restore your lashes to your fullness desire. Alternatively, you may choose to keep your scheduled appointment. In that case, we will complete as much of the fill as possible within the allotted time, but a complete look may not be achievable.

  • Please note, if you have fewer than 30 extensions per eye upon arrival, you will be charged for a full set.

Understanding Normal Lash Growth

  • This timeline helps explain the natural process of your lashes growing out:

  • Week 1: Extensions are still close to the lash line.

  • Week 2: Extensions have grown longer with your natural lashes, making this the standard time for a fill.

  • Week 3: Many extensions may have grown out, requiring removal and replacement to prevent weighing down your natural lashes.

  • Week 4: Significant growth or loss is common. By this time, your extensions will have grown out noticeably, and proper removal is crucial to prevent damage.

Lash Bath Policy

  • A quick, complimentary lash bath is included with your service. However, if you arrive with heavy eye makeup, a $15 will apply for the deep cleansing required before your lash application. This ensures the best possible bond and longevity of your new extensions.

Warranty Policy

You are paying for the time, skill, and products used during your appointment. Because of this, all services are final, and we do not offer refunds.

If you have concerns about your service, please contact us within 48 hours of your appointment. Depending on the situation, we may offer a complimentary express fill to address your concerns. Any issues brought to our attention after 48 hours will require a full-price service.

Please note that our warranty is voided by the following:

  • Picking, rubbing or pulling Extensions: This disrupts the adhesive bond and can damage your natural lashes.

  • Makeup Residue: Arriving with heavy makeup around the eye, including mascara, eyeliner, or concealer, that cannot be fully cleaned.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

  • We understand that unexpected things happen. That's why we allow each client one last-minute cancellation or reschedule per year (with less than 24 hours' notice) free of charge.

  • If we ever need to reschedule your appointment with short notice, we will give you two additional last-minute allowances in return.

  • After your free allowances, a non-refundable deposit will be required to book future appointments. The deposit will be forfeited for any cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, no-shows, or last-minute reschedules.

  • If you arrive beyond this time, we may need to reschedule your appointment. As an alternative, we can proceed with your service for the time remaining; however, please note that this may result in a partial fill, and the full price of the original service will still apply.

  • If we are ever running late for your appointment, we will ensure you still receive your full scheduled time.

  • To ensure a fair and efficient schedule for all of our clients, we reserve the right to decline future bookings from clients with a history of repeated late cancellations, no-shows, or late arrivals.

    • The deposit should be sent within 15 minutes to secure your appointment.

    • Your deposit will be credited toward the cost of your service.

    • Confirmation will be sent once the appointment is fully booked. If you haven't received a confirmation, please reach out to us to double-check.

  • Deposits are transferable 1 time only if the request is made at least 24 hours before the appointment.

  • Rescheduled appointments must occur within 90 days, or the deposit will be forfeited.

After-Hours Appointments

  • Appointments requested outside of regular business hours might incur a fee.

Before Your Appointment

  • Avoid Caffeine or Stimulants: Refrain from consuming caffeinated or stimulant-based products before your appointment, as they may cause eye sensitivity.

  • Limit Phone Use: Talking on the phone can cause your eyes to flutter, making it challenging to apply eyelash.

  • Please gently remove any eye makeup before your appointment. This helps us make the most of your scheduled time and ensures better results accurately.

  • You could remove your contact lenses before your appointment, or bring moisturizing eye drops for comfort after the service.

  • To ensure the best lash application, please arrive with clean lashes so we have more fill time.

During Your Appointment

  • Session Duration: Your appointment may take 1 to 2 hours to complete. During this time, your eyes will be taped down.

  • Limit Fluid Intake: To avoid interruptions, we recommend limiting fluids beforehand and using the restroom prior to your session.
